Budget Halloween Candy

Although we do not participate in the begging from door to door trick-or-treating (in the dark) for sweet treats, I do have the BEST way to cut your Halloween candy budget to practically zero!

Go to the store and pick up a couple of YOUR favorite candy bars.  On your way home EAT your favorite candy bar.  Do NOT throw the wrapper away (this wrapper will play a crucial role in your Halloween candy budget).

On Halloween night (before all the little beggers of sweet treats start coming by) put a small table out by your front door.  Now get your largest bowl and place it onto the top of the small table.  Okay, now this is the crucial part.  Remember YOUR FAVORITE CANDY BAR wrapper you saved?  Well… place the wrapper into the empty bowl.  Now make a sign that reads:

PLEASE TAKE ONLY ONE CANDY BAR EACH”

Place the sign next to the bowl with the used candy bar wrapper in it.

Now go out to dinner and enjoy your night.  🙂

It’s mean but it’s funny. Kids on your street must hate you, lol.

I love Halloween and seeing all the little kids coming by in their costumes and ooowing and awwwwing over them.

Tam & Hayden; Glad you enjoyed this. 🙂

Joy; The Grinch stole Christmas. The Grimlin messes with halloween.

I’m not so mean. It’s not like I said to feed the dog greasy food for two days and tie him to a tree in the front yard to creat some mine field action. 😉

Haha! did you think of this? brilliant!
    My personal favorite:
Answer the door with a mouthful of M & M’s and several half-eaten candy bars in your hands. Act surprised, and close the door. Open it again in a few seconds, and insist that you don’t have any candy.
